The Government of Barcelona celebrates the 13th edition of the Barcelona International Community Day, with a record 84 exhibitors and 68 activities, to facilitate the integration of the international community in the city.

The Barcelona International Community Day celebrates its 13th edition under the slogan ‘Barcelona welcomes you’, with a record number of 84 exhibitors and 68 activities. The event, taking place on Saturday, October 24th at the Museu Marítim de Barcelona, aims to facilitate integration, access to employment, and connection with city life for the international community.
Driven by the Barcelona City Council, the event consolidates its role as a space for welcome and networking. This year's edition has seen growth in the number of exhibitors and activities, with a special focus on resources for linguistic integration, community participation, access to municipal services, and professional opportunities. The gathering also fosters connection between the international community and local citizens.
The fair will feature 84 exhibitors, 45% of whom are public organizations and associations. Participating will be 19 public entities, 35 companies, 19 associations, and 11 educational institutions. Attendees will find services related to legal, real estate, health, education, business, language, and relocation, as well as sports and cultural activities.
Linguistic integration is strengthened with the participation of entities such as the Centre de Normalització Lingüística (CPNL) and the initiative Speak Catalan. Resources for volunteering and community participation are also expanded with the Plataforma de Festes Majors de Barcelona and the Federació Catalana de Voluntariat Social.
The program includes 68 activities on linguistic integration, volunteering, employment, entrepreneurship, health, taxation, immigration, housing, and education. Highlights will include debates on technological hubs, professional opportunities, labor market trends, sectoral networking, guided tours, and cultural activities such as musical performances, stand-up comedy, and a parade of Chinese dragons and lions.
Barcelona Activa will enhance job search services with the Empresa-Ocupació platform, professional photography services for resumes, and practical workshops. Mobile World Capital Barcelona will also expand its collaboration to connect international talent with professional opportunities.
The event will feature collaborations with companies such as Banc Sabadell, CaixaBank, and Allianz. The international community represents over 26% of Barcelona's population, and the Barcelona International Community Day continues to be a key space for their integration.
