The Barcelona Institute of Culture (ICUB) has opened the call for grants for the contemporary art exhibition program 'Temporals' 2027-2028, which will take place in the city's civic centers.

The deadline for submitting proposals is from October 7 to November 11, 2026. The 'Temporals' program aims to create artistic actions and experiences that engage citizens and dialogue with the immediate surroundings of the proposing civic cultural centers.
Promoted by the Cultural Extension Directorate of ICUB, the program seeks to consolidate a stable and quality exhibition program in the neighborhoods, as well as support the cultural and artistic sector of Barcelona.
The call offers two modalities: individual or collective exhibition projects, and curatorial projects. A maximum of six projects from the first modality and three from the second will be selected.
The grants are aimed at artists and curators residing in the metropolitan area of Barcelona, whether they are individuals (over eighteen years old), legal entities, or associations without legal personality, who have a connection with the city.
Applications can be submitted electronically through the Barcelona City Council's electronic headquarters or in person.
