The purpose of this initiative is to support the Christmas street decorations promoted by Barcelona's merchant associations. This collaboration between commercial entities and the Barcelona council aims to enhance the city's image and promote local commerce during the holidays.
Eligible entities must be representative merchant associations of the city. Associations that include street sections where the Barcelona City Council already provides Christmas lighting services will not be able to apply for these grants.
The application period is fifteen working days, starting from the day after the call is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona. Applications must be completed online through the Barcelona City Council's procedures portal. The budget must be prepared by an approved installation company.
