The CUP presented the satirical video game Adventurers on the Train this Tuesday at the Catalan Parliament to denounce the poor operation of the Rodalies network and call for demonstrations.

The anti-capitalist party, the CUP, has launched the digital game Adventurers on the Train, inspired by the famous board game, to ironically criticize the constant delays suffered by the Rodalies commuter rail service. The release follows a new incident at the Adif control center in Barcelona that paralyzed the service this Tuesday morning.
The game features simple mechanics, penalizing users with minutes of delay if they collide with obstacles or suffer “Catenary incident” or “Control error,” recreating the usual chaos. After each attempt, the system displays mocking messages, such as those criticizing the lack of connection via the Mediterranean Corridor.

"Every day we discover something else that doesn't work in Rodalies. Every day they surprise us with a new adventure. Today they had the decency not to accuse hackers of the system failure."

Xavier Pellicer · CUP Deputy
During a press conference at the Parliament, CUP Deputy Xavier Pellicer regretted that the service “is not just as bad as always, but much worse, which is already difficult.” This satirical campaign aims to urge citizens to participate in the demonstrations scheduled for next Saturday, February 7.
