The Minister of the Presidency, Albert Dalmau, defended the Government's commitment to investments and management change to solve the Rodalies and Regionals chaos from Tremp, ahead of the demonstrations scheduled for this Saturday.

The Minister of the Presidency, Albert Dalmau, stated that the Government "understands and respects" the two demonstrations that will take place in central Barcelona this Saturday to protest the railway chaos.

"But here we must make a choice between whether we want to lead it towards frustration or towards solutions, and the Government has decided to take the path of solutions."

Dalmau insisted, during the inauguration of the debate session on the future of the Pyrenean Axis in Tremp, that the Generalitat has decided to "take the bull by the horns and fix the situation of Rodalies and Regionals de Catalunya once and for all" through investments and a management change that is irreversible.
The Minister acknowledged that the Government is "very aware" of the public discontent, but stressed that politics has the obligation to choose the path of solutions. He also recalled that many territories, such as the Pyrenees, need to correct "historical grievances" to maintain territorial cohesion and equity.
