The Damm company has begun celebrating its 150th anniversary in Barcelona by unveiling a commemorative logo and announcing an extensive program of cultural events throughout 2026.

The project began in 1876 when master brewer August Kuentzmann Damm and his cousin Joseph Damm left their native Alsace to settle in Barcelona. Today, Damm is a global business group that, in addition to its flagship beer, Estrella Damm, manages over 30 beer specialties, waters, soft drinks, and catering businesses.
To commemorate the anniversary, a special logo has been presented that will feature in the main events. Furthermore, Damm's master brewers will launch Bohemia, a special long-aged beer named after the original name of the emblematic Antiga Fàbrica Estrella Damm.

synthesizes the company's legacy and its vision for the future.

Music will be the main focus of the activity program. In May, the Parc del Fòrum will host “La festa del 150”, featuring prominent Catalan bands. A cycle of nearly 50 concerts is also scheduled between September and October in venues across Catalonia, the Balearic Islands, Castellón, and Andorra.
The Antiga Fàbrica Estrella Damm will play a central role, not only with activities focused on gastronomy but also with the inauguration, late in the year, of the Immersive Space. This permanent exhibition will offer a dynamic journey through 150 years of Damm's history, emphasizing milestones, campaigns, and collaborations in sports and culture.
