The construction will take place through a collaboration agreement between the Department of Education and Vocational Training of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the City Council of Barcelona, and the Consortium of Education of Barcelona.
These educational centers began operating between the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 academic years in provisional facilities. Currently, the Xirinacs institute-school and the Entença school are located on the site of the former Model prison, while the Gaia school occupies a plot near Parc de les Glòries.
