The weather forecast for Barcelona this Monday, May 4, indicates increased instability with the possible formation of showers and thunderstorms, especially from midday, due to the passage of a cold front.

The day will start with intervals of low clouds, giving way to clear spells and a relatively calm morning. However, this tranquility will be deceptive, as the arrival of the cold front, the activation of the sea breeze, and surface warmth will create ideal conditions for cloud development.
From mid-afternoon, around 3:00 PM or 4:00 PM, showers are expected to appear in the pre-coastal areas, with the possibility of some precipitation reaching the coast of Barcelona. The likelihood of rain in the city and its surroundings will be higher between 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM, so it is advisable to carry a raincoat.
Regarding temperatures, a temporary increase is expected this Monday, with maximums potentially reaching 22 or 23 ºC, especially inland, while coastal areas will see slightly lower values. This rise will precede a slight cooling expected for Tuesday and Wednesday, when it will be more difficult to exceed 20 ºC.
Despite the changes, the week will begin within spring normality, with a higher probability of scattered showers, maintaining a changeable and fully seasonal atmosphere.
