The Farmers' Guild ensures that the columns of tractors and cars will guarantee access to the capital out of "solidarity" with Rodalies users.

Several columns of farmers from Tarragona, Girona, and other regions began mobilizing towards Barcelona early on the morning of February 6, testing mobility amidst constant problems on the Rodalies commuter rail network.

The first to mobilize were the farmers from Girona, who left around 7 am with about twenty tractors and cars, using secondary roads. They are scheduled to meet the columns from Osona, Bages, and Vallès on the C-17 near Granollers.
From Tarragona, about forty farmers set off in cars around 8 am, while in Bages, several tractors started marching around 9 am. This action takes place during a period of tension due to the crisis in the railway network.

"Out of solidarity with the mobility problems, we will avoid bothering more than necessary and guarantee that cars will be able to access the Catalan capital."

The Gremi de la Pagesia detailed the entry points into the Catalan capital. One column will access Barcelona via the Meridiana avenue, while another will use the Vallvidrera tunnels and the Via Augusta, aiming to minimize the impact on general traffic.
