The "super app" that's changing the way people experience motorcycling is born in Barcelona: smart GPS, social network, and a community of thousands of bikers.

Kando Riders, developed entirely in Spain, brings together in a single free application a twisty navigator, a system for finding riding partners, a "100% gasoline" social feed, and exclusive discounts with industry brands.
BARCELONA — What started as a simple list of WhatsApp links to arrange rides has become one of the most comprehensive technological projects for bikers on the Spanish scene. Kando Riders is today a digital ecosystem that brings together thousands of users, thousands of routes, and its own GPS developed with telemetry and route or circuit analytics, all created by and for the biker community.
Its name is no accident. "感度 (Kando) is a Japanese word that expresses intense emotion, that feeling only understood by those who have felt the road under two wheels," explain those behind the project. And it is precisely this emotion that the application seeks to capture and multiply by connecting bikers with each other.
A hand-crafted navigator, kandomaps, designed for enjoying the road.
Unlike other applications, Kando did not program a generic map: they built it from scratch by listening to the requests of the community itself. The result is a GPS that understands how a biker thinks.
The AI-powered "Twisty Mode" is its great differentiator: when the user requests a route from point A to point B, the algorithm analyzes the topography, automatically avoids boring highways, and plots the most winding and fun stretches, those that many didn't even know existed.
A unique solution on the market.
Professional telemetry: thanks to the phone's gyroscopes, it records speed, altitude, and even maximum lean angles to the left and right. Afterwards, the rider shares their epic stats as if they were a racing driver.
Furthermore, riding pays off: for every kilometer navigated, the user earns "Kando Points" that can be exchanged for biker-related prize draws. The more you enjoy your bike, the more you earn.
The essential: never ride alone again... If the navigator is the muscle, the community is the heart.
Kando's star feature is MotoMatch, a system that works like a "social radar" to find the perfect riding partner. Bikers can search for a rider, pillion, or group to ride with, filtering by bike type (naked, sport, trail, custom), engine size, and location. It makes a "match" and off to the road.
Added to this is the Social Feed, a space that its users describe as "a social network but 100% gasoline": a place to upload bike photos, comment on friends' rides, share live stories, and discover the biker culture of each area, routes, and rides, without the noise of other social networks.
And everything feeds back into the navigator: the community uploads dozens of new routes every week, classified by difficulty, asphalt type, off-road, or even "for lunch."
Any rider can download routes created by others, or create their own with the intelligent generator and share it. Finding the perfect route has never been easier.
Much more than a map: a complete biker ecosystem
Kando Riders has been adding tools that solve real-life problems for bikers, integrating them all into the same free application:
Track days: a directory of track days, courses, and open sessions at circuits across Spain, with organizers and price comparisons so you don't miss a weekend.
Biker Marketplace: a niche market to buy and sell bikes, leather suits, exhausts, helmets, or intercoms directly between trusted users.
Walkie-talkie style voice chat: group voice communication integrated into the map itself, to coordinate the group without external apps.
Live Mode: allows you to see the GPS position of the rest of the group in real-time, so you always know if someone has fallen behind.
My Garage and pre-ride checklist: motorcycle maintenance management and a checklist (documents, tire pressure, gear) before each ride.
A license preparation: hundreds of updated DGT tests and an AI assistant to answer questions 24/7.
Even the soundtrack is about bikes
The immersion is total. Kando Riders has integrated its own music and content player designed for bikers into its ecosystem, as well as synchronization with podcasts from the two-wheeled world like Somos Motor. The idea is that, within the Kando universe, everything revolves around the same passion: from the route you're going to take to the music or podcast playing in the background as you prepare to leave. A community that doesn't switch off when you get off the bike and that also extends to its social media, where only gasoline is breathed.
Riding with Kando is rewarding: partners and discounts.
Being part of the community also saves money. Kando Riders has agreements with industry brands to offer its users discount codes and exclusive conditions on gear (up to 20% off), spare parts, VIP insurance, and motorcycle rentals and tours. A benefits section reserved for members that makes passion more profitable.
A national alternative to paid giants... In a market dominated by subscription-based navigation apps and general social networks, Kando Riders offers a different model: bringing together advanced navigation, a real community, and practical tools in one place, accessible to the entire community.
Compared to apps that charge for the best features or lack social life, the Kando proposal focuses on an integral experience created from the daily feedback of its own users.
The reception speaks for itself. With a rating of 4.8 out of 5 in the app stores, users highlight precisely this combination. "I didn't expect such a useful app. The GPS navigator is very good, but what I liked most is the social part: it's like Instagram but only for bikes, with many events and routes every week," summarizes one of the reviews.
Another sums it up: "Essential for a rider's daily life."
From screen to asphalt
True to its spirit, Kando Riders doesn't just stay digital.
The community organizes official rides, rallies, and events throughout the country, including meetups at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya (Montmeló), where members have even accessed the circuit's paddock with official schools. Because, in the end, technology is just the tool: the goal is always the same, start the engine and never ride alone.
