Circulation on FGC lines R5 and R50 has been interrupted since Sunday afternoon between Monistrol de Montserrat and Manresa Baixador due to a landslide.

The company Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) reported that the incident, caused by ground saturation after several days of intense rain, affects the Llobregat-Anoia network section. Service is only running normally between Barcelona-Plaça d'Espanya and Monistrol de Montserrat.
To guarantee the mobility of affected users, FGC has established an alternative bus service covering the route between Manresa and Olesa de Montserrat. There is no specific forecast for the restoration of service on the affected section.

Protecció Civil has activated the pre-alert for the Ferrocat plan, the emergency protocol for railway transport incidents, given the meteorological instability.

In addition to the railway disruption, the rains have caused the closure of the B-140 road near Sabadell, where a landslide was reported to emergency services at 12:41 hours. The Sabadell City Council is managing the cleanup while technicians inspect the slope to rule out further risks.
