The event, starting at 12:00 PM, carries the slogan «We retire from work, not from life» and will be attended by other members of the municipal government. The celebration is organized by civil entities, unions, and political parties with the support of Barcelona City Council, the Barcelona Provincial Council, and the Generalitat de Catalunya.
During the event, Barcelona activist Mercè Mas i Quintana will read this year's manifesto, which has already garnered over 300 adhesions. Actor Joan Pera will also participate.
Media representatives will have the opportunity to speak with the event's organizing group at 11:30 AM at the City Hall entrance.
