More than 150 people participated in the free workshops and activities organized by the Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) at the Night of Research, held on September 25th at CosmoCaixa in Barcelona.

The event, held at the CosmoCaixa Science Museum, offered a wide program of interactive activities for all audiences. Throughout the afternoon and evening, attendees had the opportunity to learn firsthand about biomedical research in areas such as nanotechnology, bioinformatics, neuropsychology, diabetes, migraines, disease diagnosis, and aging.
The activities allowed participants to experiment and understand how scientific advancements contribute to improving people's health and well-being. One of the highlighted proposals was 'Research on Stage,' which combined scientific outreach and humor to explain research concepts and projects in an accessible way, with over 100 people participating.
Through this participation, VHIR reinforces its commitment to scientific dissemination and bringing research closer to society, promoting science communication in a close, inclusive, and participatory manner.
As part of the Night of Research, 'Research Mornings' were also held, where VHIR professionals visited schools and institutes in Barcelona to introduce science to Primary, Secondary, and Baccalaureate students.
