The PSC would win the next municipal elections in Barcelona, according to a recent barometer commissioned by ERC and conducted by Celeste-Tel, which also predicts the strong entry of Aliança Catalana.

The analysis of the latest municipal barometer, reported by Nació Digital, places the PSC as the winner with 10 councilors, maintaining their current seats and slightly increasing their vote share to 20.5%. ERC would consolidate as the second force with 8 councilors, three more than in the last elections, achieving 16.5% of the votes. Meanwhile, Barcelona en Comú (BComú) would lose two councilors, settling at 7 with 15.1% of the support.

Junts' vote share would nearly halve, dropping from 22.7% to 11.6% of the support, resulting in a loss of five councilors who would be gained by Aliança Catalana.

The study by the sociological research institute Celeste-Tel forecasts a fierce battle for the fourth position between Junts and the far-right formation Aliança Catalana (AC). Junts would drop from 22.7% to 11.6% of the votes, translating into 6 councilors (five fewer). AC would enter the council strongly, obtaining 5 councilors and 10% of the total votes.
Regarding the remaining parties, the Partido Popular (PP) would maintain its 4 councilors, while Vox would gain one, reaching 3. The CUP, despite improving its results (from 3.8% to 4.8%), would remain outside the council by two tenths, failing to surpass the 5% threshold required by electoral law. It is important to note that the next Barcelona City Council will expand from 41 to 43 councilors.
