A unit of Barcelona Firefighters quickly responded to the scene and managed to extinguish the flames. According to municipal sources, no one was inside the affected shack at the time of the incident.

This incident marks the second of its kind in the area within a short period. In mid-January, another fire affected a settlement located at the end of the Passeig de l'Exposició. On that occasion, the flames also caused no injuries but burned a significant portion of the shack cluster.
