The train service on the Rodalies R1 and RG1 lines will be interrupted between the Barcelona and Badalona stations due to infrastructure works from January 3 to January 11, 2026.

This interruption, which will last for nine days, will affect the section connecting Clot-Aragó with Badalona. The works are part of a broader project to modernize the railway network in the Barcelona metropolitan area.
Regular users of these lines will have to seek alternative transport during the affected period. Renfe and Adif are finalizing alternative transport plans to ensure passenger mobility, which are expected to include shuttle bus services.
The R1 line connects the Maresme and Vallès Oriental regions with Barcelona, while the RG1 links the south of the Catalan capital with the Girona coast. The goal of the works is to improve the reliability and capacity of the infrastructure at one of the network's busiest points.
