High-speed train (TAV) services between Girona and Barcelona were interrupted this Sunday morning due to a lack of electrical power.

The incident, which occurred around 08:50 AM in the La Sagrera area, caused a voltage drop in the overhead catenary, affecting all operators on the line. Civil Protection has activated the pre-alert for the Ferrocat plan.
Currently, two trains are stopped in this section. An Avant train traveling between Barcelona and Figueres is immobilized at La Sagrera station with about thirty passengers. The other affected train is a high-speed service from Barcelona to Lyon, which is returning to Sants station.
Passengers are being informed about the situation by the onboard staff of the respective trains.
