The Badalona City Council will join next September 2nd in the concentration called by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) in support of Ceuta and its citizens.
The event will take place at 8 PM in the Plaça de la Vila and is part of the celebration of Ceuta Day. The initiative, which will be held simultaneously in town halls across Spain, aims to convey a joint message of support, solidarity, and unity with the Autonomous City following the events of July 30th and 31st and the current situation faced by its inhabitants.
This adherence follows a visit by FEMP representatives to Ceuta, where they met with the President of the Autonomous City, Juan Vivas, to learn firsthand about the situation and express the support of Spanish municipalism.
Through this action, Badalona aligns itself with the institutional gesture promoted by the FEMP, demonstrating the proximity of local governments to Ceuta and its citizens, and the desire for the city to soon return to normality.
The concentration on Wednesday, September 2nd, in the Plaça de la Vila will have an institutional character and will be open to citizen participation.
