Barcelona announces extensive family program for Easter 2026

The city of Barcelona is preparing a diverse range of cultural and leisure activities for families during the upcoming Easter 2026 holidays, focusing on local traditions and education.

The Chocolate Museum will host specialized workshops from March 21 to April 5, where children can learn to craft traditional Easter eggs. These sessions are designed for kids aged 6 and up and include museum admission.
At the Sagrada Família, families can participate in free educational tours of the Passion Facade. Additionally, a special light and music show will take place on March 29, 30, and 31, with nightly sessions starting at 21:00.
Other highlights include an outer-space themed escape room at CosmoCaixa and the Gaudí in Chocolate exhibition at Park Güell. Outdoor options include the Tibidabo amusement park and the Historic Botanical Garden in Montjuïc.
