Barcelona City Council has provided support to over 47,000 individuals as part of the extraordinary immigrant regularization process, exceeding initial expectations and managing a substantial volume of procedures.

Since the process began, the city has assisted a total of 47,000 people, a figure that represents 20,000 more cases than just 11 days ago. Of these interventions, 29,800 vulnerability certificates have been issued, and 2,000 individuals have received personalized legal advice to guide them through their individual process.
Regarding administrative documents, 175,440 registration forms (volants de padró) and 77,000 registration certificates have been processed, highlighting the high volume of residency-related procedures.
Pavilion 2 at the Montjuïc trade fair venue, a key service point, will reduce its operating hours starting Tuesday, May 26th, from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM. To date, this facility has handled nearly 18,000 applications and provided comprehensive support to over 4,000 individuals, half of whom have received legal counsel.
Furthermore, starting next week, procedures will also be conducted at the Miquel Bleach center. In contrast, the citizen service offices at Sant Miquel and Monumental will cease regularization services, following periods of tension and long queues experienced in late April.
