The Meteocat weather service has issued a warning for Barcelona regarding a sharp change in weather conditions expected this Saturday due to an incoming polar air mass.

As the recent DANA storm recedes, Catalonia will experience a brief period of stability. Wednesday and Thursday will see mostly clear skies and slightly warmer temperatures, providing a short break before the next atmospheric disturbance arrives from the north.
The situation will deteriorate starting Friday evening, leading into a very unstable Saturday. Forecasts indicate widespread rainfall across Barcelona and Girona, with the possibility of thunderstorms and hail in some coastal areas.
In the Pyrenees, heavy snowfall is expected as the snow level drops below 1,000 meters. Temperatures across the territory will fall significantly, although experts predict that conditions will begin to stabilize by Sunday morning.
