The Diagonal Mar shopping center will host the first solidarity 'Ducky Derby' in Barcelona next Saturday, June 13th, a race with 500 ecological rubber ducks to raise funds for adapted sailing.

The initiative, taking place at the Terrassa del Mar between 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM, aims to finance projects by the Catalan Sailing Federation for people with reduced mobility, under the name "Un Mar per a Tothom" (A Sea for Everyone).
Participants can sponsor one of the numbered ducks for three euros, both through the shopping center's website and in person. Diagonal Mar commits to doubling the total amount raised. The top three winning ducks will receive gift vouchers of 300, 200, and 100 euros.
The event will feature live music, a DJ, a photocall, and a podium area. Additionally, there will be a children's space, Mar de Jocs, where participants can personalize their ducks before the race.
This activity is part of the corporate social responsibility strategy #PelNostreMar and the collaboration between Diagonal Mar and the Catalan Sailing Federation. An information stand will also be set up to present the adapted sailing programs.
