Representatives from Barcelona City Council have met with a delegation from the California assembly to analyze current challenges in housing and urban planning in both regions.

The meeting served to share the public policies currently being developed to facilitate access to housing. During the session, the strategic projects promoted by the Catalan capital to foster urban vitality and the development of social housing were presented.
The North American delegation included members of the state assembly's housing and appropriations committees, as well as representatives from organizations specializing in affordable housing promotion in the United States.
In addition to the meeting at the city hall, the delegation's agenda includes a visit to the Barcelona Innova headquarters. This municipal space is the hub where the city's main urban innovation initiatives are coordinated.
