The venue, located in Glòries Park, will open its doors from 6:00 PM, coinciding with the start of the match, so that fans can enjoy the sporting event from the city. This initiative aims to support the Barça team in their quest for their fourth Champions League title.
The final marks a new chapter in the rivalry between the two most prominent clubs in European women's football over the last decade. Barça aims to consolidate its golden era, while Lyon, the competition's most decorated club, stands as a historic rival.
“"We will once again have the live broadcast of this historic final in Glòries Park so that all Barcelonians who wish to attend can enjoy what we hope will be Barça's fourth victory in this competition."
Municipal sources highlight that the measure is part of the strategy to position Barcelona as a leading city in women's sports internationally. Last year, the council already set up a similar screen in Glòries for the Women's Champions League final, and previously, broadcasts had been organized in Plaça de Catalunya and the Vall d'Hebron Olympic Pavilion for the Women's World Cup final.
