The city of Barcelona will host the Open Studios 2026 over two weekends in May, offering citizens a unique opportunity to delve into the world of art and design.

This 33rd edition will allow visitors to engage directly with creators and professionals, exploring their workspaces. Activities will be spread across two periods: Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10, and Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17, 2026.
On the first days, studios will be open in the districts of Ciutat Vella, Eixample, Sants-Montjuïc, Gràcia, and Sarrià-Sant Gervasi. The second weekend, the activity will move to Sant Andreu, Nou Barris, Horta-Guinardó, and Sant Martí. Specific schedules for each activity can be found on the event's official website.
The initiative includes both free visits and paid activities, all proposed by the creatives themselves, as well as cultural entities and groups. It is essential to reserve a spot directly with each studio to ensure participation. Additionally, specialized guided tours that merge art and architecture will be organized, requiring prior reservation.
As a new feature, the Unique Piece initiative is presented for the third time, aiming to promote the collecting of craftsmanship. More than forty professionals have created pieces in limited series of up to fifty units, available at affordable prices. These creations span disciplines such as ceramics, engraving, screen printing, textiles, and wood, offering the public the opportunity to acquire unique artisanal works.
