After two weeks of recording, the city of Girona returns to normality. The film's sessions, which adapt the story of Rapunzel with real actors, starring Teagan Croft and Milo Manheim, have been marked by secrecy and summer heat.
The production company secured various urban spaces to maintain discretion about the plot. The high temperatures, combined with long waits, led to complaints from some extras. One stated: 'If there were another shoot at this time of year, I would reconsider participating.'
During the most intense filming day, Girona Cathedral hosted nobles, horses, and maidens, serving as one of the main settings in recent weeks.
With the completion of the recordings, the Old Town will regain its usual appearance, often bustling with tourists. The mobility restrictions and other disruptions caused by the filming will disappear with the departure of the technical and human crew.
