The Pablo R. Picasso Institute in Barcelona's Torre Baró neighborhood will launch a pioneering railway specialization this September to train professionals for the regional rail network.

The school will introduce two new vocational cycles: Railway Rolling Stock Maintenance and Administrative Management for the rail sector. This move provides 60 new spots for students in a high-demand industry, following the Rodalies commuter rail management transfer to the Generalitat.

"The goal is to connect quality technical training with the real needs of a key sector for the country's future."
