The Barcelona Half Marathon, scheduled for this Sunday, February 15, will significantly restrict mobility across the city from 8:30 AM until approximately 3:30 PM.

The athletic event, expecting 36,000 participants, will force the closure of several main roads. The 21-kilometer route starts at Passeig de Picasso and crosses key areas such as Gran Via, Paral·lel, and Diagonal Avenue, affecting the Eixample and Poblenou districts.
Surface public transport will face extensive disruptions. Nearly 40 bus lines will be diverted or limited, including major routes like D20, H12, and V15. The Tram network (lines T4, T5, and T6) will also experience service changes during the race.
Authorities recommend using the Barcelona Metro as the most reliable transport option. Runners heading to the start line are advised to use Arc de Triomf (L1) or Ciutadella – Vila Olímpica (L4) stations.
