Expert Raffaele Mancini is leading the new Unesco collaborative center from Barcelona, a United Nations initiative aimed at fostering a sustainable and resilient ocean economy worldwide.

The center, supported by the Port of Barcelona and the Generalitat, will focus on decarbonizing the maritime sector and protecting coastlines. Key scientific partners include the ICM-CSIC and the BlueNetCat network, involving over 800 experts.
