The BioCultura fair, a leading event for organic products and responsible consumption in Spain, returns to L'Hospitalet from May 7 to 10, showcasing the latest innovations for adopting healthy habits in food, cosmetics, and mobility.

The event, taking place at La Farga, will offer the public a wide range of products and services that promote a more sustainable lifestyle. Organizers highlight the current positive momentum of the organic industry, characterized by offering local, high-quality, and environmentally friendly products.
Despite the sector's growth, its representatives consider it essential to intensify promotion to increase domestic consumption. This need arises from the confusion among consumers caused by the abundance of labels that falsely claim to be sustainable. The goal is for the public to understand the benefits of organic products.

"Organic certification provides credibility and security for the consumer at a time when everyone claims to be green, but they are not."

a spokesperson for the Vida Sana entity
In this regard, the Vida Sana entity, responsible for BioCultura, advocates for the use of the “euroleaf” label for all local organic production. This official European Union logo guarantees that a packaged product is organic, with at least 95% of its ingredients coming from organic farming or livestock, complying with EU sustainability regulations and without contamination.
BioCultura promotes the consumption of quality, local, and organic products as an alternative to industrial food. The latter, although often more economical, has been linked to an increase in diseases such as cancer, allergies, diabetes, and obesity.
This year's edition of BioCultura expects to host around 250 exhibitors, over 200 activities, and an attendance of approximately 30,000 visitors during its four-day duration.
