Barcelona's Deputy Mayor and President of Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB), Laia Bonet, accompanied by the Deputy Mayor of l’Hospitalet de Llobregat, Jesús Husillos, will visit the renovation and improvement works underway at the Santa Eulàlia and Mercat Nou stations on metro Line 1. The visit will take place this Thursday, August 20th, at 10 AM, at the Mercat Nou station.
Also attending the visit will be TMB's CEO, Xavier Flores, and the Director of the Metro Network, David Prat. The tour will begin at Mercat Nou station, where the ongoing work will be explained, and will conclude at Santa Eulàlia, where a media briefing will be held.
Accredited media will be able to access the track area between Mercat Nou and Santa Eulàlia stations, as well as the workshop space, to record images of the renovated track. For safety reasons, closed-toe shoes and long trousers are mandatory to access the construction area.
