Colla Vella Xiquets de Valls attempted to download the 5d9f, one of the most frequent extra-level 'castells' (human towers) for the group this season. However, the structure collapsed after the sixth level following constant trembling. The fall was complicated when the 'pinya' (base support) opened on the Town Hall side, requiring medical attention for several individuals.
Meanwhile, Colla Joves Xiquets de Valls opened the event by competently downloading the 3d9f, demonstrating ease in the construction and starting the 'diada' successfully.
Castellers de Vilafranca initiated their performance with the 4d9a, a 'castell' not always seen downloaded in this square. Despite being a challenging construction, they managed to achieve it from the start.
The hosts, Bous de la Bisbal, opened the 'diada' by downloading the 4d7 calmly and safely. The structure appeared steady and open-ended, suggesting an intention to attempt higher levels in future performances.
The event, adapted to the heat and modern times, was moved from midday to the afternoon. On Doctor Robert street, the Verds planned the 4d9a, the Bous the triple of 7 (4d7, 3d7, and 2d6), and the Joves the 3d9 with 'folre' (support).
This 'diada' in La Bisbal del Penedès serves as a prelude to the important Sant Fèlix festival. The three invited 'colles' aim to consolidate their extra-level 'castells' away from home.
