The Ustec, CGT, and Intersindical unions have mobilized over 30,000 teachers in a crucial vote to determine the future of educational protests in Catalonia, including regional strikes next week.

The educational community is preparing for a new cycle of demands starting this Saturday, March 14, with a demonstration in Barcelona. The march, starting at 10:30 AM from Plaça de Correus to the Parliament, will focus on improving the 0-3 age educational stage, demanding more investment and better conditions for staff.

"Schools are ready to lead a mobilization that could potentially paralyze the country."

Tensions rose after the Government announced a 391 million euro investment for subsidized private schools. On Friday, March 13, the results of the teacher consultation will be released. If the agreement signed by CCOO and UGT is rejected, regional strikes will begin on Monday the 16th in Barcelonès and Baix Llobregat.
