The legal action follows the events of May 6 at the Pau Claris Institute in Barcelona, where two undercover Mossos d'Esquadra agents were discovered by attendees. The union's legal counsel argues that this action violated fundamental rights, including the right to strike, trade union freedom, and freedom of expression.
The appeal formally requests clarification regarding who ordered the infiltration and the conditions under which it was carried out. Furthermore, the union seeks to determine whether the Department of Education had any involvement or prior knowledge of the police operation deployed at the school.
In parallel, the federation has requested that the General Information Commissariat of the Mossos d'Esquadra provide a detailed report on all agent infiltrations in CGT meetings, assemblies, and mobilizations over the last decade. This request is part of the organization's effort to clarify the extent of these practices following official explanations recently provided in the Parliament of Catalonia.
