According to Meteocat, the instability will start in the north and the central coast. Heavy rainfall is expected in Girona, Maresme, and the Barcelona area. Meanwhile, the Pyrenees will see persistent snow, particularly in Aran and Alta Ribagorça, where weather alerts will be active.

Temperatures will drop sharply across the region. Barcelona will see lows of 9 degrees Celsius, while inland areas like Osona will stay below 10 degrees. In high-altitude regions such as Cerdanya, thermometers are expected to hit sub-zero levels.
