Legal expert Núria Terribas confirmed in Barcelona this February that the euthanasia process for Noelia can proceed following a definitive ruling by the Constitutional Court.

The court's decision to reject the appeal filed by the father of the 24-year-old woman marks the end of a highly publicized legal dispute. Speaking on the program Bon dia, Barcelona, Terribas explained that previous rulings had already lifted the injunctions, but the Generalitat chose to wait for full legal certainty.

"With the last resolution of the Supreme Court, the precautionary measure already lost its effect, therefore leaving the application of euthanasia active."

Terribas criticized the involvement of the Christian Lawyers foundation, describing their actions as an ideological crusade rather than a defense of the woman's welfare. She emphasized that Noelia met all legal requirements from day one and that the delay has caused unnecessary suffering.
