However, the inclusion of a photograph of a 'casteller' group has caused a stir, as the image corresponds to the Colla Vella dels Xiquets de Valls, and not the local group, the Micaco.
In a campaign designed to project the identity of Badalona to the world, elements and images fully linked to the city should have been chosen.
The Micaco are an active part of Badalona's cultural and associative fabric and regularly participate in local events and celebrations, which has heightened the surprise regarding the image selection error.
