The National Police and the Mossos d'Esquadra have dismantled an organized criminal group involved in several violent robberies and home invasions in various Catalan towns.

The police operation resulted in the arrest of seven individuals, charged with crimes of belonging to a criminal organization, robbery with violence and force, and drug trafficking. Investigators confirmed that the group operated with a hierarchical structure, with defined roles for each criminal action, ranging from prior surveillance of targets to the execution of the assaults.
Members of the network selected homes in high-income areas and used specific vehicles and phone lines to coordinate their movements. In several of the robberies, the perpetrators used firearms and knives to intimidate victims, often tying them up to secure the loot.
During the seven searches carried out in Barcelona, L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, and Girona, officers seized imitation firearms, jewelry, high-end watches, narcotics, and relevant documentation. Symbols linked to organized groups were also recovered.
