The suspect posed as professionals in fields such as medicine, police, or therapy to build trust. Once he gained their confidence, he would access their homes and take advantage of any distraction to steal jewelry.
It is estimated that the detainee caused financial harm to at least five victims, all women between sixty and seventy years old, during 2025 and 2026.
The alleged perpetrator, who had seven judicial warrants for similar offenses and had previously been imprisoned until 2024, was arrested in Barcelona and subsequently brought before the court.
