This academic year, the Kokora’t program, focused on emotional competence, is made available to all primary schools, adding to the existing Henka program for secondary education. Additionally, a Guide for action in cases of suspected Eating Disorders in educational centers will be published.
Coinciding with World Mental Health Day, the department highlights the available resources. In early childhood education, 1,2,3 Emociona’t continues; in primary school, Kokora’t; and in secondary school, Henka is expanded with 8 experiential workshops for 3rd and 4th year ESO students. These programs address topics such as self-esteem, emotional management, grief, self-knowledge, and resilience, aiming to improve both students and the classroom climate.
The Well-being to Be Well (BxB) program, created in January 2023, incorporates a new line of action for education professionals. The goal is to prevent professional burnout, strengthen support for educational teams, and promote healthy work environments.
The new Guide for action in cases of suspected Eating Disorders will offer guidance and tools for prevention, early detection, and support. The guide will establish coordination circuits between the educational and health sectors and provide recommendations for communication with students and families.
