The initiative, called Paraules a la vista, aims to make vocabulary accessible to children in a playful and engaging way. Through this project, students link concepts with their daily experiences, facilitating the understanding and correct use of language.
In this session, the chosen term was llepafils, a word that describes people who have difficulty eating due to their selective preferences. The activity allows children to identify this behavior in their immediate surroundings, such as during mealtimes.
According to the organizers, this window into language not only serves to expand vocabulary but also acts as a tool to better understand the world around us. Play becomes the main engine for discovering and growing with words.
