The 2026 Mercè Pyromusical is changing its location in Barcelona, taking place at Bogatell beach on Sunday, September 27th, because of ongoing works.

The traditional Mercè Pyromusical, which marks the end of Barcelona's main festivities, is relocating this year to Bogatell beach. This change of venue is due to construction work at the usual site on Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina.
As in previous years, a well-known Catalan music group, yet to be announced, will be responsible for selecting the musical theme for the fireworks. Last year, this role was filled by Estopa, and before that by artists like Rosalía.
The fireworks display will take place on Sunday, September 27th, starting at 10 PM and lasting approximately 30 minutes. Thousands of attendees are expected at Bogatell beach to enjoy this grand spectacle of light, gunpowder, and music.
In addition to the Pyromusical, the beach will also host various fireworks shows during the days leading up to La Mercè as part of the XXVII International Pyrotechnic Festival of Barcelona, held at the Gas breakwater.
