The Port of Barcelona welcomed the public with an overwhelming response, selling out all 5,000 tickets for its weekend activities.

The Port of Barcelona, a key infrastructure for the city, opened its doors over the weekend to bring its operations closer to citizens. The event featured shows, concerts, and guided tours, which were exceptionally well-received, with all 5,000 tickets selling out within hours. Port President José Alberto Carbonell highlighted the public's strong interest, stating that "demand is infinite" and people are eager to learn about the port.
The program offered three types of visits: land-based tours to explore restricted port areas; maritime tours on the traditional "golondrinas" (ferry boats); and theatricalized historical walking tours. This year's major highlight was a ship parade, where vessels like pilot boats and tugboats moved to music, generating significant excitement among attendees keen to discover the port's daily life. For the first time, the Llobregat lighthouse was also open for visits.
The port police also had a notable presence, showcasing their control equipment, including a drone and vehicles. Children particularly enjoyed the opportunity to honk the vehicle horns and try on uniforms. Activities are set to continue on Sunday, with the tenth edition of the KM contra el Càncer Deichmann solidarity run being another highlight.
