Barcelona Air Traffic Increases by 4.6% in June

Enaire's control center in the city managed over 122,000 flights, with a notable rise in international routes.

Enaire's air traffic control center in Barcelona managed 122,873 flights during June, a 4.6% increase compared to the same month in 2025.

According to the state air navigation manager, three out of every four flights managed were international. Specifically, international routes accounted for 74% of the total, amounting to 91,019 flights, and saw a 6% increase during the sixth month of the year.
Domestic flights totaled 18,738 operations, up 2.8%, while overflights numbered 13,116, down 1.9%.
Nationwide, air operations in Spain rose by 4.5% in June, reaching a record figure of 238,400 flights. International flights grew by 5.6% (144,081), domestic flights by 4.7% (43,540), and overflights by 1.4% (50,779) compared to the same period last year.
