The BCN eMotorsport, Dynamics UPC Manresa, Nova Racing Team, and UPC ecoRacing teams demonstrated their engineering and design talent in various European events. These teams, composed of students from different UPC campuses, developed electric and combustion engine single-seaters to compete in events such as FS Czech Republic, FS Spain, FS Germany, FS Alpe Adria, and FS Italy.
BCN eMotorsport, comprising students from ETSEIB and ETSETB, unveiled their new electric and autonomous race car, the CAT18x, successfully reducing its weight below the 200 kg mark. They achieved 12th place at FS Czech Republic, 8th at FS Spain (with a 3rd in Engineering Design DV), 16th at FS Germany, and 13th at FS Alpe Adria, setting a new historical record in Acceleration with 3.517 seconds.
Dynamics UPC Manresa, from EPSEM, has consolidated its electric technology with the new DYN-10 design. After starting the season at FS Czech Republic, they secured 5th overall position in the Electric category at FS Spain and 19th place at FS Alpe Adria.
Nova Racing Team, from EPSEVG, with 18 students, focused its efforts on optimizing engine configuration and enhancing the reliability of their NOVA GF.40 single-seater. They achieved 11th overall in the Combustion category at FS Spain and 6th overall at FS Italy, including a 1st place in the Cost Event.
Finally, UPC ecoRacing, from ESEIAAT, with 31 students, presented the ecoRV prototype, featuring autonomous driving technology and a modular chassis. They competed at FS Spain, reaching 22nd overall in the Electric category, and at FS Germany, where they secured 53rd overall position.
