Public transport users in the Barcelona area must familiarize themselves with the new map of the 10 metro lines and the new ATM fares taking effect on January 15, 2026.

The Barcelona Metro map is essential for navigating the city and its metropolitan area. The network consists of 10 main lines, each identified by a color and number, connecting key points from Fondo (Santa Coloma de Gramenet) to Hospital de Bellvitge (L'Hospitalet), or from Cornellà Centre to Vall d'Hebron.
The classic lines, such as L1 (red), L3 (green), and L5 (blue), remain the central axis. Notably, the newer lines, including L9 Nord, L9 Sud, L10 Nord, and L10 Sud, which connect Josep Tarradellas Airport and Badalona, are fully accessible for people with reduced mobility.

The new ATM transport fares for 2026 will be applied starting January 15, but tickets purchased in 2025 can be used until February 28, 2026.

These tariff changes affect all transport tickets managed by the ATM, including those for TMB, Rodalies, FGC, bus, and TRAM. Furthermore, the T-Mobilitat system is consolidated, featuring rechargeable contactless cards that replace traditional cardboard tickets, streamlining network access.
One of the new options is the T-Familiar, a multi-person transport ticket that includes eight journeys and is valid for 30 days, designed for families of up to four members.
