The inauguration of the exhibition on the impact of the 10 years of the Neighborhood Plan in Barcelona will take place on Wednesday, July 15th, at 8:00 PM in Plaça del Poeta Boscà. The event will be attended by the Councilor for Neighborhood Plan, Sara Belbeida, and the Commissioner of the Pact for Ciutat Vella, Ivan Pera.
This initiative materializes into a cycle of 15 exhibitions that will travel through different areas of the city where Neighborhood Plan projects have been developed. The main objective is to give visibility to the work done and the municipal commitment to reduce inequalities in neighborhoods, combining impact data with direct experiences from participating residents.
Initially, two exhibitions will be available simultaneously from July 7th to 19th: one in the Neighborhood Plan of Ciutat Vella at Plaça del Poeta Boscà, and another in the Neighborhood Plan of Verdum at Plaça Francesc Layret. Subsequently, from July 20th to 31st, the exhibitions will move to Rambla del Raval (Ciutat Vella) and Rambla Prim with Carrer Pujades (Besòs i el Maresme).
After a break during August, the cycle will resume on September 1st and continue until November. Every two weeks, the exhibitions will be set up in public spaces of neighborhoods such as Sant Pere, Santa Caterina i la Ribera, the Gòtic, Trinitat Vella, Turó de la Peira, el Bon Pastor, Baró de Viver, Prosperitat, Trinitat Nova, Ciutat Meridiana, Vallbona, and el Carmel.
Each exhibition consists of a common section with four panels explaining the Neighborhood Plan and a specific section of eight panels focusing on the actions in the neighborhood where the exhibition is located. The exhibition is interactive, including QR codes that link to the Neighborhood Plan website to expand information and access full interviews with the testimonials.
