The Generalitat Firefighters have abandoned the search for the 16-year-old minor who disappeared on Wednesday night in Roses while on a jet ski excursion. The Guardia Civil and Mossos d'Esquadra maintain the operation.

The Generalitat Firefighters have concluded their participation in the search for the 16-year-old youth who disappeared last Wednesday in the bay of Roses during a jet ski excursion. After more than two days of operations, including helicopter flyovers of the area near Pals and south of Begur, no new leads have been found to resume the search. The firefighters' operation was declared complete on Saturday midday.
The Guardia Civil, leading the investigation, and the Mossos d'Esquadra, collaborating with a boat, continue the active search for the minor. The young man was last seen on Wednesday around 9 PM in the Almadrava and Canyelles cove area.
According to reports, the missing person separated from the group to return to port before his companions. When he did not arrive, the activity organizers alerted of his absence. The Maritime Rescue Center and the Maritime Captaincy of Palamós initiated the rescue operation. On Thursday, the jet ski used by the minor was found capsized on Pals beach.
The Guardia Civil is investigating whether the youth had parental permission to navigate and why he was in the water after 8:30 PM, when regulations prohibit the use of such vehicles one hour before sunset. The delay in reporting the disappearance, which occurred more than two hours after he was last seen, is also being analyzed.
