A former employee of the Roma Automotores dealership network has launched legal action in Barcelona against Esade Business School and the PSA Group over alleged intellectual property theft.

The plaintiff, W. R., claims he authored a strategic document titled Car Dealers Business Case to save his family business in Argentina. He alleges this work was misappropriated and commercially exploited by Stellantis (formerly PSA) with the alleged involvement of Esade.
The dispute dates back to 2010 in Mendoza, where the individual designed a plan for dealerships representing brands like Peugeot and Citroën. The former student claims he was pressured to turn his strategy into an academic case study used to restructure Latin American operations.

Esade has distanced itself from the case, stating the work was personal and that they have not received any official notification of the lawsuit. While legal aid in Barcelona initially denied his request, the process was reportedly greenlit last June.
