The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya has secured its place on the Formula 1 calendar until 2032 following a new agreement that establishes a biennial rotation for the race.

Under the new contract, the Montmeló track will host the world championship in 2028, 2030, and 2032, in addition to the 2026 edition. The event will also undergo a rebranding, officially becoming the Gran Premi de Barcelona-Catalunya. The Catalan Government highlights that the race generates an economic impact of over 300 million euros and supports 2,500 jobs.

"Barcelona is an incredible city, and Formula 1 fans always welcome us with great passion."
